Natomas Charter School regularly receives more applications than available spots, so a lottery is required by law. In order to be placed in the lottery for the 2019-2020 school year, you must complete the online application and all additional requirements listed below by the February 8, 2019 deadline.

Which academy Is Right for My Student?

Before beginning the application, please take a moment to decide which academy is right for your student. You will find a quick overview of each academy here, and more detailed information on each academy’s website.

If you wish to apply for multiple academies, you must fill out a separate application for each academy.

Application Process for 2019-2020 School Year

Thank you for your interest in applying to Natomas Charter School. All Natomas Charter School applications are completed online. Please read all instructions carefully and follow the steps below to submit your application.

  1. Click on this link to access the online application.
  2. Create an Infosnap account. 
    • If you already have an Infosnap account, login to your account and select the “dashboard” icon in the top right corner. Select “2019-2020 Application” to begin a new application.
  3. Complete and submit the online application.
  4. Within one week of submitting your application online, submit the following required documents to the academy to which you applied. You may submit the required documents online by uploading to your application OR in person at the academy to which you applied. If you decide to submit in person, please bring copies of all documents (no copying service will be provided). 
    • Copy of Current Utility Bill - SMUD, PG&E, City of Sacramento, or equivalent if you live outside of Sacramento. No leases or rental agreements will be accepted
    • Copy of Immunization Record
    • Copy of Birth Certificate or Guardianship Document. No passports will be accepted
    • Copy of Transcript for 10th-12th Grade Applicants
    • Copy of Last Report Card for Entering 9th Graders
    • Copy of IEP/504 (if applicable)
    • Notarized Affidavit of Residency (if applicable)
  5. Complete your in-person application intake meeting at the academy to which you applied. Intake meeting availability is provided below. Intake meetings are mandatory for all applicants.
  6. (If applying to PFAA) Attend and pass the PFAA audition (more information given when you complete your intake meeting)
  7. Complete the online NCS Application Survey (Optional).

**Please note, depending on the availability of office staff and number of applicants, the wait times for intake meetings may be up to 20 minutes.**

Monday: 8:30AM-3:45PM

Tuesday: 8:30AM-3:45PM

Thursday: 8:30AM-3:45PM

Friday: 8:30AM-3:45PM
